Pre Tournament Release

Dates :

• Friday, 14th December  2007
• Saturday, 15th December 2007
• Sunday, 16th December 2007 

Venue: Bilakhia ( Micro Inks ) Cricket Ground , Vapi , Gujarat ( A lush green International level cricket ground ).

Basic Outline of 2nd NCC  @ Vapi :

• Tournament format shall be of T20.
• Subject to number of entries, 6 teams of 11 players each with 3-5 substitute players shall be constituted by Organising committee.
• 3 league matches shall be played. Winners of league matches shall qualify for semi finals.
• 4th team for semi final shall be constituted from best players of the loosing teams. This team shall play 2nd Semi final on Sunday Morning.
• Winners of Semi Finals shall play Final on Sunday afternoon.
• Players are requested to be in White dress code with sports shoes ( of any color ).
• Professional, Neutral Umpires shall officiate Tournament .
• All Players should make it to the cricketing ground around 8.00 am.
• All matches shall be played with Season Ball.
• Kit shall be provided by Organizers. Though it is strongly recommended that players should carry their cricketing gears like Helmets, protection guards etc for safety.
• Organisers shall NOT be responsible in any manner for any injuries , if any , caused to any player and / or official during Tournament.

Charges for 2nd NCC, Vapi:

• There shall be NO Entry fee for eligible player . 
• All Players / Officials / Guests  have to organise their own to & fro transportation till Tithal Guest House,Valsad.( Official guest house ).
• Bus facility is provided for Mumbai Players. To & fro travelling charges from Mumbai to Tithal  shall be Rs 300/- per person. This service is Optional.
• Accommodation at Tithal Guest house , Tea / Breakfast / Sports Lunch / Dinner, To & fro transportation between  Cricket ground & Tithal guest house is  FREE for players / officials & shall be provided by Organisers.
• For guests,  Rs 250/- per day per head shall be charged for Accomodation at Tithal guest house ( 5 people in one flat ) , Tea / Breakfast / Sport Lunch / Dinner, To & fro transportation between  Cricket ground &  Tithal Guest House.  Day shall be counted from 6 pm to 6 pm.

Program Details: 13th December 2007 , Thursday :

• 7.00 pm – Registration of Players / Officials / Guests starts  at Tithal Guest House, Valsad. ( Official accommodation ) . This guest house is located at Tithal Beach , approx 20 mins from Valsad.
• 8.00 pm  - 9.30 pm - Dinner at Tithal Guest House

14th December 2007, Friday  :

• 6.30 am – Players & Officials should gather for Morning tea.
• 7.00 am – Players & Officials depart  in a charter Bus from Tithal Guest House to Bilakhia Cricket Ground, Vapi  
• 7.30 am – Guests shall proceed to ground in charter bus / personal vehicle.
• 9.15 am – Opening of 2nd Nagar Cricket cup.
• 9.30 am – 1.15 pm - First league match
• 1.15 pm  - 1.30 pm – Lunch at Cricket Ground
• 1.30 pm – 5.15 pm - Second league match
• 6 pm – Proceed to Guest House in Bus.
• 7 pm – 8.00 pm : Local Tithal sightseeing.
• 8.00 pm – 9.30 pm : Dinner

15th December 2007, Saturday :

• 6.30 am – Players & Officials should gather for Morning tea & breakfast.
• 7.00 am – Players & Officials depart  in a charter Bus from Tithal Guest House to Bilakhia Cricket Ground, Vapi 
• 8.30 am – Guests shall proceed to ground in charter bus / personal vehicle.
• 9.30 am – 1.15 pm – Third league match
• 1.15 pm  - 1.30 pm – Lunch at Cricket Ground
• 1.30 pm – 5.15 pm -  First Semi-Final between winners of Friday’s league matches.
• 5.30 pm – Proceed to Guest House in Bus.
• 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm : Antakshari  
• 8.30 pm – 9.30 pm : Dinner 
• 9.30 pm – 10.00 pm : Bhashan
• 10.00 pm – 11.00 pm : Sangeet Program 
• 16th December 2007, Sunday  :
• 6.30 am – Players & Officials should gather for Morning tea & breakfast.
• 7.15 am – Players & Officials depart  in a charter Bus from Tithal Guest House to Bilakhia Cricket Ground, Vapi 
• 8.30 am – Guests shall proceed to ground in charter bus / personal vehical.
• 9.30 am – 1.00 pm – Second Semi final between winner of Saturday’s Third league match & 4th  team ( Comprising of best players of loosing matches )
• 1.00 pm  - 1.30 pm – Lunch at Cricket Ground
• 1.30 pm – 5.00 pm -  Final.
• 5.15 pm – Prize ceremony.
• 6.00 pm – Closure of 2nd Nagar Cricket Cup
